I encourage you to get involved with this year’s CoastAlong for WaterAid.
The average person across the countries that WaterAid work, walks 6kms for water every day. 884 million people do not have access to safe, clean drinking water. Over 4000 children die every day from preventable water-related illnesses.
To raise awareness for this and to raise some cash, why not organise a team to tackle one of the legs from the South West or Pembrokeshire Coast Paths this year.
The event is being held on 12 September 2009 and Waterpilgrim will be joining the team walking from Swanage to Poole, Dorset.
